Training in Tbilisi

From January 2021 to March 2025A, a coalition of non-governmental organizations - Association of Internally Displaced Women "Consent", Women's Information Center and Women's Fund "Sokhumi" - in partnership with the United Nations Women's Organization, is implementing the project: "Women and youth for the implementation of the WPS agenda at the local level" . The project is implemented with the financial support of the UK government.


Within the framework of this project, on July 19th 2024, IDPWA „Consent“ organized a training on the topic:„Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Safe Use of Internet Space“. The training was led by guest lecturer Omar Abshilava. It was attended by women from Gardabani, Mtskheta and Dusheti municipalities.


One of the most appealing parts of the training included sharing with women theoretical and practical information regarding the use of artificial intelligence. The trainer explained what AI is, how it works, its usage in daily life. He also demonstrated its abilities and disabilities, explained the reason for not accomplishing all tasks. This particular topic aroused great interest among the participants, therefore, their activity was outstanding. Among other topics discussed at the training weredisinformation and methods of dealing with it, propaganda and its definition, role of social media, etc.


The main priority of the project: "Women and youth for the implementation of the WPS agenda at the local level" is to promote the localization of the National Action Plan, with the active participation of women's organizations, displaced and conflict-affected women and youth in local policy planning and budgeting processes.
