The situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has affected all field, including the education one.
With the financial support of the British Embassy and in partnership with the NGO Initiative for Peaceful Change, the IDP Women Association "Consent" launched a five-month project "Communities and Schools against Covid-19".
The research was conducted in 10 communities in three regions of Georgia as target groups: Shida-Kartli (Mereti, Kvemo Nikozi, Ergneti, Kelktseuli), Mtskheta-Mtianeti (Gremiskhevi, Mchadijvari) and Samegrelo (Ganmukhuri, Ingiri, Anaklia and Koki).
To obtain data quantitative and qualitative components were used in the study. The quantitative component of the study included surveying the population, while the qualitative component consisted of focus groups and in-depth interviews. One of the main tasks of the project was to analyze the needs of vulnerable communities and bring them to the relevant decision-making institutions and similar organizations, which in our opinion will help to more effectively address the problems facing these communities.
