During the meeting, Chair of IDP Women Association “Consent”, Ms. Iulia Kharashvili informed H.E. about the work done by Consent in the conflict affected regions in women’s empowerment, their networking and building ability to advocate their needs at local and national level. She stressed the importance of UK funding and UN Women support for preparation of National Action Plan for Women, Peace and Security (UNSCR1325) as the official state document giving opportunity for women activists to work on peaceful conflict transformation and women’s direct involvement in monitoring and implementation of the NAP.
