Women's Association "Consent" carries on the "Leaders' Academy" within the framework of the "Strong Women and Youth for Peace" project. This time face-to-face training with a new group started in Samgrelo, Zugdidi and Tsalenjikha villages. The participants are internally displaced or women, youth and men coming from conflict-affected communities, as well as civil servants of various ranks of the mentioned municipalities.
Today, self-government is accountable to the central government, which complicates the process of citizens' involvement in self-governance. Therefore, strengthening/activating the population remains a priority. Holding the leadership academy in different regions of Georgia serves the implementation of that priority.
On January 26, 2024, the first training of the cycle was held in Zuggdidi, Samegrelo office of the Women's association "Consent" on the topic: communication capabilities, specifics of communication with beneficiaries, peculiarities of relations with the elderly.
Future trainings were planned.
